Rodney H Rainey
Rodney H. Rainey, a 3rd generation real estate broker, began his real estate career in Houston, Texas as a construction manager with Brighton Homes, property manager with Wayne Duddlesten Inc., for 50 Briar Hollow, a 180,000 square foot office building complex, and commercial real estate broker with The Hackney-Rainey Company.
The Hackney-Rainey Company began as the T.F. Hackney Company in 1930's by Thomas F. Hackney, his grandfather, and in the late 1940's the company became the Hackney-Rainey Company, a partnership with Walter M. Rainey Jr., his father.
As a broker, Rainey has represented office building tenants in lease negotiations, multiple fast-food restaurant franchisees in pad site acquisitions and lease negotiations, numerous raw land acquisitions for investors and real estate developers, but has focused most of his attention over the years on income producing real estate investment properties.
In addition to his transaction experience, Rainey has extensive knowledge and thorough understanding of the market conditions and the off-market availability of multi-family, retail, hotel & light industrial investment opportunities in the greater Charlotte and surrounding markets.

M. Kyle Rainey
Kyle Rainey, a 4th generation real estate broker, grew up hearing about high-profile real estate transactions his grandfather and great-grandfather put together for their clients in Houston, Texas during the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's.
The most notable being the Intercontinental Airport, later re-named George H.W. Bush Intercontinental Airport and The Houston Astrodome (The Eighth Wonder of the World) where T.F. Hackney and Walter M. Rainey Jr., Kyle's great-grandfather and grandfather, assembled all of the land for those 2 landmark facilities that ultimately defined Houston, Texas and put that city on a growth-path that was unparalleled during the 1960's and 1970's and substantially contributed to Houston becoming the 4th largest city in the USA.
Under the back-drop of that tradition, Kyle becomes the newest member of the Rainey family to become a realtor and joining the Hackney Rainey Commercial team.
Kyle was a history major at the University of Mississippi, and it was that love of history, commercial real estate and 19th and early 20th century architecture that sent him on the path of discovery of the very rich history of Charlotte's origins.
The innovative and highly original land planning for that time established Charlotte has one of the most progressive new cities of the 19th century and attracted scores of entrepreneurs, educators, bankers and industrialists to Charlotte where they began building the foundation from which this great city has emerged.
Kyle's keenly inquisitive nature, deep knowledge of Charlotte's origins and historical growth trends combined with his understanding of where Charlotte is headed today gives him a very clear perspective through which to explain those trends underwritten by the research he provides to Hackney-Rainey Commercial clients.
Kyle attended A.G Middle School and Myers Park High School in Charlotte and University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi and Queens University in Charlotte, NC.
